I just had a great idea. I’ve been looking at all the different kinds of tents there are out there and had this thought that, wouldn’t it be great to have a hiking camping tent that was big enough to put Aero’s dogs camping tent inside during the night. Cool. Especially if we were camping in wild places and there were bears and cougars around. I’d feel way more secure if we were all together in the night. What made me think of this was finding the Kelty Mantra 7 Tent. This is a BIG tent. It is a “two room camping palace” for when you’re stuck with company. If you don’t need the two rooms, the privacy walls are removable which makes for a really big space. More than enough to have the dogs camping tent inside. It has colour coded pole clips and sleeves that makes it a snap to set up and has a UV resistant polyester rain fly that won’t stretch or expand. You know how frustrating it is when the rain fly becomes loose and starts flapping in the wind! This tent is so big that it would only be good for truck or car camping ( I don’t think it would be suitable as a piece of hiking outdoor gear - a bit to bulky and heavy) but how luxurious to have such a huge amount of space. Another great thing about this camping tent is that it has a no-see-um mesh ceiling that provides fabulous ventilation. And it looks great. Have a look.
