Whether you’re planning a week long hike in the mountains, a simple day hike or anything in-between, these men’s hiking boots are a great choice. They’re waterproof, light weight, comfortable and extremely durable. Having a reinforced rubber heel and toe box makes for good traction while the DuoAsoflex midsole, being a mix of a shock-absorbing soft layer and a stiffer shank, makes for unbeatable torsion control. They are high cut and are great for light hiking. You could possibly find, however, for a long hike you would want to replace the insoles because the insoles they come with are not terrific. Also, we found that choosing a half size bigger than normally worn worked best for us. These hiking boots might take a while to break in but, boy, are they worth the wait. I think you’ll find that you will enjoy dry and happy feet even after hours of hiking through wet or muddy terrain. Actually, the Asolo Fugitive GTX Hiking Boot, being so light and comfortable as well as waterproof, is great for any terrain. So, if you are in the market for new men’s hiking boots, or even if you just decide that you want an extra pair of men’s hiking boots, you may want to check these out.
