I’m really excited! My husband, Conny, and I have decided to embark on an adventure tour this spring.  I’ve found an amazing tour guide group offering tons of different types of adventure tours covering places from all over the planet.  This company is called G.A.P. Adventures and they are the world’s leading adventure travel tour operators.  We want to stick close to home this time so we are trying to decide between two incredible adventures. The first one is the “Spirit of the Rockies” 7 day hiking tour which would take us into the remote Canadian wilderness starting in Banff, Alberta.  This tour would take us over the Continental Divide and through Kootenay National Park, hiking in one of the most spectacular, pristine wilderness areas in the world. The second choice is the “Canadian Rockies Hiking Adventure” 14 day hiking tour.  This one would take us to places like Head-Smashed-In-Buffalo-Jump and the Wolf Observation Centre for some interesting education and also for a hike on the Columbia Icefield and through Jasper National Park and heli-hiking in Nordegg, Banff.  It’s going to be a hard choice but either one would be a great adventure and provide us with ample opportunities to encounter wildlife and have other unforgettable experiences.  We are very much looking forward to soaking up the ambience of Mother Nature and rejuvenating our spirits.
