Okay, it’s true, I’m an outdoorsy girl. However, I also love, love, love cooking up and partaking in a wonderful feast for Conny and me to enjoy over a lovely glass of wine. You can imagine my delight in exploring the wildernessdining.com site. It was an inspiring experience for me! I think one of the coolest parts of spending time away from all our conveniences is enjoying the simple things… like a yummy banana for an afternoon snack. Sounds like an easy indulgence but if you’re backcountry camping, or even on day hikes in the local mountains, and packing up stuff as efficiently as possible, finding a banana in one piece at the end of the trail is highly unlikely.
