My husband and I have enjoyed camping for many years and sometimes he has brought his mountain bike with him while I have remained at camp reading a book or preparing supper. I am not especially crazy about bicycle riding, because of weak knees. If You Only Have One Canoe This Should Be It!

  I was looking out the kitchen window this morning and I realize that something was amiss on top of our 4X4 camping truck. Then I realized what it was. It was empty! Usually we have our old scratched and patched fiberglass canoe on top of it. Good luck to the person who took it because that means that now we can get a new one.   Today I was reading through some promo material that I sent for last week. We have decided to do something we have never done before. We are going whitewater rafting on the Fraser River!! I know we will get a kick out of it and, after we’ve learned some useful information about how to have safe outdoors fun on the water, a river kayak is next on our wish list.
