New item #7 – foot first aid. As I’m sure you’ve learned from my enthusiastic blogs, I am a keen optimist. However, I try to be a careful realist when it comes to backcamping camping in the wilderness. I am determined that nothing, no thing (even a nasty blister), is going to put a blemish on our fantasy weekend! I’ve picked up a couple of packages of Glacier Blister and Burn Dressings, with each package containing 3 small and 3 large bandages. They are super cool… literally… cool. The GlacierGel contains 50% water so sores or blisters will be cushioned against any further friction and cooled for instant and complete pain relief. The other great thing about these guys is that they will stay in place for 3 or 4 days. A pretty essential piece of outdoors first aid gear, I’d say. Foot first aid is really important when you’re relying solely on your feet to get you back safely.  Perfect! Now… on to more exciting buys!   To be continued…
