New item #6 – a cool backpack kitchen. Preparing for this backpacking camping adventure is proving to be quite an adventure in itself! My usual hiking camping gear for the outback kitchen doesn’t really serve us for this trip. It’s just too much to carry. Thank goodness I found this little backpack kitchen! Everything folds up nice and small and is super light. It even has a waterproof salt and pepper shaker designed especially for outdoor use. Yay!! No more sticky salt! They even made the spatula and spoon safe to use on non-stick cookware. This little bundle of goodies will make our load so much lighter.
