New Item #4 – brand new snow hiking boots. Yippee! My next favorite thing, after camping, is shoes. I love buying shoes.  This has been a fun time. I know that it’s really important to have good, comfortable hiking waterproof boots (snow can get pretty wet at the bottom of the mountain).  Both Conny and I like to have fairly wide hiking boots so that we can wear thick socks.  We’ve looked at lots of different styles but it’s been hard for me to decide on just one.  I finally did decide but I chose to go with functional and cute instead of  functional and waterproof (I’ll just have to get my husband to carry me over any puddles). I’m getting the new Ulu Women’s Seona Boot in chocolate brown.  Check them out – they’re really cute. They are made with genuine New Zealand shearling. Soooo soft and cozy! They have a rugged outsole for great traction and are light weight.  That’s good for the functionality part. Conny has chosen The North Face Men’s Baltoro 400 II.  They’re waterproof (so his feet won’t get wet when he carries me over the wet spots) and they are fully lined with Drilex Fleece so they’ll be warm and cozy, too.  Anyway, enough about his boots, let’s talk more about my new cute, comfy, wide hiking boots.  Just kidding.  Well, that’s the boots taken care of.  Do you think we should do clothes next?  Maybe.  To be continued…
