We’ve been on a mission looking for the perfect summer camping shirt. To me the perfect summer camp shirt is long sleeved (for protection from the sun and those pesky mosquitoes) but light and cool (so you don’t sweat and get dehydrated). After a bit of searching, we have finally discovered the solution to our quest. Even though this camp shirt is made out of tightly woven nylon and offers 40 UPF sun protection, it is moisture wicking, very light (2.4 oz) and dries extremely quickly. What's more, if you decide to roll your sleeves up, while setting up your tent & camping gear, for instance, or lighting your camp stove, it has a system with tab and button fasteners makes them stay rolled up (a fabulous feature, in my opinion). This Patagonia Sol Patrol Long-sleeved Shirt is also a shirt that gives you wind resistance when combined with a light under layer, at the same time its side vents offer mobility and back vents lets cool air flow. Another selling feature for me is that when you crawl out of the bush after a weekend camping in the wild, you still look presentable thanks to its sharp look, its square cut hem and snap down collar. You also remain protected from harmful sunrays due to the unique double-layered stand-up collar. Ahhh…thank you very much! I do believe that the Patagonia Sol Patrol Long-sleeved Shirt is the perfect summer camp shirt. Now, the problem of which colour to choose. Which would you choose?
